Everything in Orderly, in plain words.

Orderly has four parts: your agreement, your calendar, your messages, and a private Coach. Here's what each one does today.

Agreement

Your order, finally searchable.

Add your custody order as a PDF or a few photos. Orderly reads it, you check the details, and nothing is saved until you do. No file handy? Set it up by answering a few questions.

Add your custody order. The choices are a PDF, a photograph of the pages, or setting it up without a file.

Agreement updates you both accept.

If the plan changes, the current version stays in effect until you both accept the update. Nothing changes until you accept.

Review an agreement update from Jordan. The current version stays in effect until both accept. The example is a Friday pickup time at Lincoln Elementary.

Calendar

Swaps that wait for a yes.

Propose a schedule change from the thread. It stays pending until your co-parent accepts or declines, and only one proposal can be pending at a time, so there's never confusion about which one counts.

Message thread with Jordan. A calendar proposal for Saturday, November 7 stays pending, with Accept and Decline. The screen says nothing changes until you accept.

A calendar both homes can read.

Each parent has their own colour, handoffs are marked, and the plan comes from the order you checked.

November 2026 calendar. Your days and Jordan's days use two colours. Friday, November 6 shows a 5:00 PM handoff at Lincoln Elementary.

Messages

One thread. Nothing edited, nothing unsent.

One shared message thread with your co-parent. Messages are permanent once sent, with delivered and read receipts. Read receipts can be turned off only if you both agree.

Quiet notifications.

Notifications don't show message text by default. Orderly doesn't show online status or location.

Coach (private)

Only you see this.

Ask about your order and get an answer that cites it.

Ask Coach "Who has the kids on Thanksgiving?" and get an answer with the part of the order it came from. If the order doesn't cover it, Coach says so instead of guessing. Coach can't give legal advice.

Ask Coach, marked private to you. Coach cites the order: exchanges happen at the Library lot at 5:00 PM, and says the order doesn't say anything about late pickups.

Check a reply before you send it.

Coach can review your draft privately for Brief, Informative, Friendly and Firm, and suggest a calmer version. You choose what to send. Coach never sends anything for you.

Review before you send, marked private to you. The draft says: Sure, see you at 3:15 at school. Brief, Informative, Friendly and Firm are checked, and a calmer suggestion is offered.

A private hint when a message lands hard.

When a message comes in, Coach can offer a quiet, private hint on how to reply calmly or whether a reply is needed at all. Only you see it. Hints are on by default, and you can turn them off in More, under Coach.

Message thread with Jordan. A private Coach hint says only you see this, and that the message might be hard to answer.

Linking and records

Works on your own. Invite only if you want to.

Everything works without linking. If you invite your co-parent, the invite email doesn't include names, children or case details, and the link expires in 7 days. If you have a protective order, you don't have to link.

Records you can share with your lawyer.

Choose what goes in (messages, calendar, audit log, agreement info, a plain-text timeline) and Orderly makes the file on your phone. We don't keep a copy. Coach chats are never included.

Ending a link calmly.

You can unlink at any time, and both of you keep read-only history. "Unlink and block" stops new invites for 30 days, and you can unblock at any time. We don't tell them why. They only see "Link ended".

Screens are from the current test build and design previews.
